Bu çalışmam aynı masada duran iki kuru kafanın arasında görünmez bir mesafe olduğunu vurguluyor. İkisi de birbirine bakmıyor ; bu durum aynı hayatı paylaşsalar bile duygusal olarak birbirlerine ulaşamayan iki kişiyi simgeliyor. Masadaki boş bardaklar, aralarındaki gelişmesi beklenen duyguların hiçbir zaman doldurulamadığını gösterirken, yalnız bir bardağın içindeki kırmızı taze çiçek, geç kalmış ama yine de filiz veren bir sevginin işareti. This work highlights the invisible distance between two skulls resting on the same table. Neither of them looks at the other; this represents two people who share the same life yet remain emotionally unreachable to one another. The empty glasses on the table show that the emotions expected to grow between them were never fulfilled, while the single red fresh flower in one glass symbolizes a love that arrived too late, yet still managed to bloom. The green cloth represents the innocent secrets they hide from each other. The bottle on the table symbolizes the fragile shared value they were able to maintain, though it was not enough to sustain their relationship. The fact that the skull in the front is propped up by a stand is meant to evoke the feeling that the weight of the relationship was carried by only one side.
Overall, this composition tells the story of a bond that might have blossomed into love, but slipped away from both individuals before they had a lifetime left to live it.
