This work represents a wise being that both draws in and embodies a powerful force from its surroundings. The staff it holds in its lap symbolizes its ancient knowledge and authority, while the fact that its skin shares the same color as the world it inhabits is meant to suggest that it either shares the same fate as this realm or is its creator.
